Tasty Aloo Paneer Grilled Sandwich Recipe

Aloo Paneer sandwich is my all time favourite dish. I remember how I use to run behind my mom to make Potato Cheese sandwich for breakfast.  It is very yummy, nutritious and healthy snack that can be made in minutes.

Serves: 2
Cooking time: 25-30 minutes

Ingredients
  1. 6-8 bread slices (you can use brown bread)
  2. 100 gm grated paneer
  3.  ½ kg potato (boiled and mashed)
  4. 1 onion (finely chopped)
  5. 1-2 green chilly (finely chopped)
  6. 1 tbsp butter
  7. 1 tsp Salt
  8. ½ tsp pepper powder (kali mirch)
  9. Coriander leaves (hara dhania - finely chopped)
  10. 1 lemon juice
Directions
  1. Boil, peel and mash the potatoes.
  2. Grate the paneer.
  3. Heat butter in a pan. As soon as butter melts, add finely chopped onion and green chillies and fry them for 1-2 mins.
  4. Add mashed potatoes and then all seasoning (salt, pepper powder, lemon juice) into it.
  5. Cook the mixture for 3-4 minutes and then remove it from flame and add coriander leaves in it (Note: adjust the masala according to your taste and mix it well).
  6. Take a slice of bread and apply butter on it.
  7. Apply the layer of aloo masala and then sprinkle grated paneer on it and cover with another slice of bread.
  8. Apply butter on top of the covered bread and toast it in sandwich maker (Note: make sure the sandwich maker should be hot enough before grilling the bread).
  9. Serve your sandwich with ketchup or green chutney.
