Delicious Creamy Paneer Tomato Vegetable Recipe

Cheese tomato is a pleasing creamy paneer sabzi that tastes great with naan or rotis. Though tomato is the main player, Kaju powder and fresh cream gives sweet flavor. It is very simple and easy to cook.

Serves: 6

Cooking time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:
  1. ½ kg cheese (Cut it in big cube shape)
  2. ½ kg tomato Puree
  3. ½ tsp ginger paste and ½ tsp garlic paste
  4. 4 tbsp Kaju powder
  5. 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  6. 1 tsp sugar
  7. 4 tbsp Amul butter
  8. 4-5 tbsp Amul cream (Or you can use Malai also)
  9. 1 Bay leaf (Tej patta)
  10. 1 tsp kasoori methi
  11. Salt and Red Chilly powder (according to taste)

Note: Do not use garam masala in this dish.

Directions
  1. Cut cottage cheese into cube shape.
  2. Heat the Amul Butter in the thick bottomed pan and add kaju powder into it. Once it gets brown, add ginger paste, garlic paste, tomato puree into it at High flame
  3. After 30-40 seconds, Add sugar and tej patta. As soon as it seems to be boiled, remove it from flame.
  4. Let the dish cool down to room temperature.
  5. Add cream/ malai to it and stir it for 5-7 mins [Note:  Do not add cream in hot mixture, it can spoil the dish]
  6. Keep the dish on high flame again and add red chilly powder, kasoori methi and stir it properly. Bring it to good boil until the oil separates
  7. Add salt and tomato sauce. Then add cottage cheese in the pan at the end.
  8. Keep it on medium flame and stir it for 4-5 mins and your dish will be ready to serve

Note: Usage of salt should be very less, say ½ tsp because we have added butter and tomato sauce in it which already contains some salt in it
